sure... money is money...
especially on the dating and cams side of things... imho, those are a bit more resistant to economic downturns and the impact of tube sites, torrents, etc...
I'd just try to do things a bit smarter... like when I first started in adult my biggest mistakes were building generic non-niched adult sites... if I was jumping in from scratch today, everything would be very niche oriented...
diversification is usually a good thing... I've been working slowly working on more mainstream projects... really, I don't see any reason why somebody can't do both...
