As of yesterday Epassporte accepts matercard again for personal account loads.

Oh, Chio is coming out with a solution that would compete with epass. In beta now.

yea, didn't he get robbed out of $4500 or something?

sounded like an inside job...

personally, I've been moving away from epass... but I still have hope they'll bounce back... or something else will come along for adult...

It was on gfy. Sounds like it is a little early. He expacts in two weeks to be better able to actually process a transaction. So to be more accurate, its prolly pre beta. But he is talking it up.

If Chio's alternative has fast load times and decent customer support it'll take off like lightning. #1 is customer support, I can't stand being on hold for 25 minutes to talk to some guy who has no clue or authority to do anything.

It comes down to customer support, i couldn't careless if the fees per transaction are $2 or $3, just have the system work and when clients need support take care of them fast and right.

support is a factor...

but I think if sponsors pick it up... regardless of the level of customer service it'll be successful...

for me getting checks from international sponsors is a royal pain... it sometimes takes weeks for the checks to arrive, then my bank puts a hold on the funds for 30 days because it's a foreign check... although, recently they've started to waive the 30 day hold for me...

anything online that I can safely transfer my cash in and out of without the hassle and wait time is much better...

plus, I'm planning to move overseas sometime in the future... exactly when is yet to be determined... so, a virtual payment system that was reliable (even if a little slow) would save me a lot of banking headaches...

fantastic top notch customer service would be great... but I'd just be happy with something that was functional and secure...

hey PL, one tip you might want to pass on to Chio...

maybe integrate some of the security features that e-gold has, like being able to set the account so that only your IP can access it, and if your IP changes, have the system lock you out until you enter a PIN number that's e-mailed to you...

so, that way even if somebody gets your password they'll be locked out of your account unless they hacked your e-mail too...

something like that might have kept DEA and others from getting robbed on epass... just an idea...
