I just became aware of the tool Xrumer and obtained a copy. (thanks Poto for the heads up).
I'm concerned about potential negative effects on my site's reputation by using a tool like this. Has anyone else used this? Is it an effective tool? |

do NOT use xrumer on your whitehat sites...
it's a blackhat tool... use it for your blackhat sites and free hosted splogs, etc... if you want to pass some juice to your good sites with something like xrumer, don't do it directly... do something like this... use xrumer to build links for site A... site A links to site B.... site B links to site C... and site C links to your target site... the idea is with that many degrees of separation, any penalties that site A incurs and any penalties that's passed on to site B most likely won't make it to site C or your important target site... just remember with domains being cheap and disposable like toilet paper... you can afford to burn a few ![]() |

You need to have the right structure and protections (to cover your ass).
Think of it like a pyramid.... white hat site Foundation sites - rarely interlinked but all linking up to your white hat sites. Lot's of Black Hat sites (yacg, splogs, scraped content - ie shit you can put up fast -- all these link to your foundation sites. You would be using xrumer on your black hat sites. Click my sig if you want to learn more - click the link at the top that says 30 days to a kick ass foundation. |

$450 per month? No. It's $450. I seem to recall a time period it was available for, but I've been using it for months(including upgrades) and I've only paid once.
