Well, so they say. Steve Jobs is suppose to or may already have. A trip to the Apple site just now shows the store section is updating.
Sure we'll all have details shortly. Your comments on the new hardware.

It's out and many bitching about it on a number of boards around the interweb.
It is 3G as expected with the $199 price tag. Service plans are pricy and most say a two year contract is required. That means credit check. Apple left plenty of room for a generation 3 iPhone release. The new hardware will be available on July 11. Jobs looks to have aged a bit in the keynote release video - wonder if he got sick??? Assume all got their email from Apple.

yea, the plans are what piss me off...
that and I have a couple of friends that have them and they get real shitty reception around here... alway dropping calls... imho, I don't see the sense in paying for an overpriced phone that doesn't work half the time in my area... plus, I usually always have my laptop handy when I'm away from home... so, for internet on the go, I'm covered... sheeet, with the way things are I'll probably buy a new laptop before I buy an iphone... |
