ok, I thought I'd start an introduction thread so we can condense the greetings and don't clutter the board up with endless intro threads...

I'm not the best at intros, but I'll start it off anyway

I'm a full time webmaster. I run a network of sites, most of which are adult. I have dozens of TGP/MGP sites as well as numerous blogs and countless splogs. I also have a handful of mainstream sites and a few other things.

I make a living and get the bulk of my traffic from spamming the search engines. I have dozens of page 1 listings in yahoo and google for various keywords. I tend to target lower competition keywords because they're easier to rank for, but from time to time I get ambitious and try to go after some of the bigger keywords

I've been buying domains for several years. What started out as a small investment has snowballed into me now owning several hundred names, about half of which have active sites on them. These days I try not to buy any more domains unless I know what I'm going to do with them before I purchase them...

okay, well what can i say.. i'm also a full time webmaster..

i started promoting adult stuff in '02 i think - was mainly submitting freesites back then..

nowadays i got some active 'real' blogs plus various splogs.. i focus mainly on getting search engine traffic. ..and just like poto i prefer to target the long tail keywords..

oh and i started a paysite a year ago but atm i'm lookin for a new payment processor.. so theres currently no money for me in that. :/

my other stream of income is the services that i offer to other webmasters in the adult industry, like e.g. logos and toon design.

then, last but not least, there is my newest baby - an adult blogrush clone - which i hope will be of great benefit to all the bloggers in the xxx industry.

im matthew, part time webmaster also at university. At the moment im just letting things role, not earning too much money, but trying to learn a lot of stuff, as seo is a very vauble skill which wont be going anywhere for a long time, i think.

do webmastering shit, some design, shoot most of the content for my paysites

quite enjoying the affiliate side of things now, although it's still early days

The names Phil and I have been in the adult industry for 14+ years.
Started out printing adult mags in Milan, Italy for UK customers.
It cost the publishers 50% less than in the UK.
After two years of this got right royally fucked by a company here
in the North.
They thought it was fun to go on the piss in Milan and see their
mag get printed then not bother to pay for the job.
Shit happens!
Started a few web sites but didn't get much joy or money.
Not good at that then.
Went over to Vegas for Internext, made some contacts and
started to wholesale films into the UK and Europe.
Got bored of that cause people like to pay 90 days after
getting the gear.
Decided then just to buy non-selling job lots of films and
bang em out cheap through a few pals who are still big
in online DVD wholesale.
Tried my hand at making films, thats like pulling teeth cause
some blokes expect to get paid for turning up to make a porn film
and then can't get a hard on!!
The films turned out OK though even though the camera man
filmed all the fuckin footage in a soft light mode, what a tit.
Best fun I have had was setting up a Ben Dover Race Day
at Oulton Park Race Track.
We had a big winnibago, two vans, a mechanics wagon and
service bay and we created our own pit area.
Lindsay (Ben Dover)came up with two girls and his motor.
We had the Ford Focus RS race team all liveried up ready
for the race.
But because the race was going out live on Sky Sports we had
to take the promo logos off,miserable twats.
Any way the day went great and we all had fun and
made a movie.
Plus the ice-cream doubled his takings!!!!
