For now Fireworks handles all I need to do. Sheeeeet, a ton of other things to learn before photoshop. I've used it and half assed supported it, but no way a pro. and that was a while back.

Sticking to the Adobe CS3 web standard suite. If it needs serious photoshop work, I'd job it out right now.

I've used Fireworks before... but photoshop seemed a little easier for me to grasp...

I do half-ass a lot of it tho... it's good enough for a splog or some of my other things that aren't that important... if I want anything nicer I gotta outsource it...

Itto has it well covered! Think both programs can do bout the same stuff? More familar with Fireworks cause that's what I use. If you wanna look smart and super kwel, buy the plugins that makes the fancy stuff easy.

Eye Candy Effects Collection

Buy one of the group for $100 or the whole set for $400

Yeah, Just spent $1K for CS3 WebStandard - my macromedia stuff was to old to get the upgrade price (mofos). For that it should of cum with the fucking plugins. The suite is powerful and worth the bucks though. I'll prolly pop for the plugins. Not sure if I'll do them all though.

Even with the plugins I'm no art-director/designer. For the real pro look I have to job it out too. A pro look doesn't = instant cash and ugly doesn't mean a site won't convert.

heh, you got mad design skillz, tho...

you could probably do a better header on a piece of scape paper and an old crayon than I could with the latest greatest software...
